Apart from staging the annual Christian heavy music retreat,
Meltdown also provides teaching for people who are
interested in evangelical music ministry. We have thirty
years experience of working within both the mainstream and
Christian music industries.
Dave Williams, the Meltdown director has been directly
involved in working on well over twenty album projects,
mainstream A&R work, concert promotion, band management,
festival organisation, video production arrangment, tour
management and organising and much more.
Dave has written a 190 page guide for people who are invoved
in Christian music ministry and those who are contemplating
ministry. The book is a theological study combined with
experiences of over thirty years of experience. It teaches
how to prepare for ministry, how to fulfil your calling, how
to measure your succes and much more. The book includes a
workbook that you can download and work through as you
progress through the book. It is invaluable for anyone who
is engaged in ministry through music.
Here is a review for the book
taken from Amazon
If you know Dave Williams at all you know exactly what you
are going to get from this book and it is exactly what it
needs to be. Direct. to the point and biblically sound.
Recently the band I am in took some time out from playing,
though this break was involuntary from our point of view God
as always knew exactly what He was doing and provided this
book Intune as the framework for our time spent with Him. We
grew closer to God, closer to each other and returned to the
cause with a greater desire to serve God and a greater
understanding and confidence in how He wants to use us. All
the good that came from this time was of course God's work,
but the book provided the perfect framework for this as it
points uncompromisingly towards Him.
We did not stick religiously to the work book but rather
took it in turns to lead a session each week based on the
chapter of the book, this worked for us but I would still
recommend the workbook as a valuable resource, especially
for new bands as these questions are integral to discuss
before you start a ministry based band together.
We are still in the process of getting back on our feet but
we are doing so this time with a much better foundation
provided by this time we spent. As Dave recommends in this
book we are scheduling in regular times where we come to God
without the distraction of instruments but simply to spend
time with Him. If you are a ministry band who does not do
this I would definitely suggest you consider it and fully
recommend using this book as you do.
In closing God is incredible and Dave is a great servant of
Him, this book is a wonderful product of His service and
full of experienced and wise which us bands are lucky to
have available to us.
Our next In-Tune Training Day
will be announced as soon as we have details.
Our one day training seminaries are FREE of charge to

In-Tune event where we work through the book and workbook
under the guidance of Meltdown seminar speakers.
Music ministry is a serious calling and we believe that God
uses music of ALL STYLES and genres for reaching out with
his message of Salvation.
If you are considering music ministry or are currently
active in music ministry - our training events are
